Philippines did it again! Handing Japan's first defeat by trampling them in the third quarter. Philippines ran a 26-12 in the third quarter including a 10-0 run that led to their 83-76 victory. Marcus Douthit again dominated the court with 19 of his 25 points and 12 of his 18 rebounds, all in the second half. FIBA: Philippines beat Jordan 72-64

Philippines struggled on the first half as Jordan dominated the game. Led by Sam Daghlas by scoring 9 points in the first quarter, Jordan was on its way to sure victory. But center Marcus Douthit has risen up to the challenge and along with Marcio Lassiter, led the Philippines to a 72-64 victory.
