So I said, OK, now swear at God in mind in your normal swearing-at-God voice, and the face relaxed a bit. (Now he’s got merely has the experience of reducing the level of his internal dialogue). I then got him to swear at God but also in a softer voice, calmer, quieter, and his shoulders and face noticably relaxed. Therefore i kept going, getting him to swear at God within a more loving and gentle voice, calmer, quieter. Soon he was on it totally relaxed, having a gentle smile, and when Gurus him what it was like swearing at God in that loving way, he opened his eyes and smiled softly and said he had stopped swearing at God a few minutes ago, and was now praying…
