Jeret “Speedy” Peterson a three-time Olympian who won the silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics inVancouver committed suicide.
Peterson found dead in a remote canyon Monday night in Utah. Police said the 29-year-old Olympic silver-medalist’s death was a suicide.
A police department spokesman said in a statement that Peterson called 911 and said he was going to kill himself and he also left a suicide note in his car.
